You keep mentioning deBlasio, he is the mayor of NYC. He does not represent all of NYS. Also he literally squeeked in on a technicality. He is a one termer, gone in a few years.
That would be Trump when he references 9/11 as why we should support him instead of Cruz. 9/11=NYC he says, then Trump=NYC values.
Even it it was NYS they picked Hillary twice and now they got Gillibrand and Shumer.
