F off you know nothing about my financial situation and you’ve shown a lot about yourself by reviewing donor lists...real classy.

Touched a nerve did we - shame is a terrible thing - especially when it derives from conscious acts/non-acts.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.

It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.

PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

Donate to FR

Begs the question entirely. I think that abortion providers target the poor black population and the concentration is highest there. The statistics below do not support your numbers.

https://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/FB-Unintended-Pregnancy-US.html
The rate of unintended pregnancy among poor women (those with incomes at or below the federal poverty level) in 2008 was 137 per 1,000 women aged 15-44, more than five times the rate among women at the highest income level (26 per 1,000). [6]

Poor women’s high rate of unintended pregnancy results in their also having high rates of both abortions (52 per 1,000) and unplanned births (70 per 1,000). In 2008, poor women had an unintended birth rate nearly six times as high as that of higher-income women (at or above 200% of poverty.)[6,7]

In 2008, black women had the highest unintended pregnancy rate of any racial or ethnic groups. At 92 per 1,000 women aged 15-44, it was more than double that of non-Hispanic white women (38 per 1,000).[6]

In 2008, women without a high school degree had the highest unintended pregnancy rate among all educational levels (101 per 1,000 women aged 15-44), and rates were lower for women with more years of education.[6]

Some groups including higher-income women, white women, college graduates and married women are comparatively successful at timing and spacing their pregnancies. For example, higher-income white women experience unintended pregnancy at less than half the national rate (20 vs. 54 per 1,000).[6]

Outcomes of Unintended Pregnancy

In 2008, 40% of unintended pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) ended in abortion and 60% ended in birth. This was a shift from 2001, when 47% ended in abortion and 53% ended in a birth.[6]

In 2008, the share of births reported as unintended by women was 40%, [11] and the unintended birth rate was 27 per 1,000 women aged 15-44.[6] The abortion rate in 2008 was 20 per 1,000 women.[7]

The proportion of unintended pregnancies ending in abortion decreased across all racial and ethnic subgroups. However, black women are still more likely to end an unintended pregnancy by abortion than women in other racial and ethnic groups.[6]

Reported Number of Abortions by State
Delaware, Florida, Rhode Island, Illinois, Connecticut & NY are the highest 16-25 per 1000. NY is the highest 4% above Florida and Delaware. The average across the Nation is much higher than you indicated.

It’s like W.C.Fields said (in some reports other famous figures are given credit for the statement) “What do you think I am?” WC Fields replied: “We’ve already established that. Now we are trying to determine the degree.” Abortion and the degradation of life is endemic across our Nation in every state. Arguing about an extra 10% is hypocritical. What state can afford to point the finger.

“Austin is far more liberal than Houston”.

As of 1 Jan 2016 out with the radical lesbian major, in with the radical leftist black major. One’s as bad as the other. The big thing they both have in common that will continue Houston’s decline. Both are radical leftist, pro-abortion, pro homo “marriage” supporting democrats.

Mega reply PING:

“American Thinker is a good site.” It is. Thanks for the tip.

¡Yeb! & Linseed: http://youtu.be/FkQxB5IoLnE I saw a post someplace else that joking said ¡Yeb! would be Trump’s VP. Trump wants to him to be his annual charitable gesture towards the mentally handicapped.

Sean Penn: POS. Madonna back with Sean Penn: She shares the same rape/denigration fantasies Angela Merkel does.

German cartoon: Like animals can read or can understand cartoons.

“Air Force To Consider Dropping ‘Man’ From ‘Airman’”: Not surprised. The military has been “fundamentally transformed” along with everything else.

RE Yebbie VP:

Trump pretty much despises Jeb. I don’t see it ever happening.

So who’s sources are correct, yours or mine?

But back to the NY values point, Donald Trump HIMSELF agreed with Cruz before he disagreed with him.

“TRUMP: It would not disturb me. I mean, hey, I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, so my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhaps…”

Trump is a phony, isn’t he.

No he’s not but you sure might be, attributing Cruz’s quote to Trump and then producing a video quote from 16 years ago that doesn’t even relate to the theme of values.

The source you have now appended is Trump but it’s not defining NY values just saying customs are a little different in different parts of the country. A far way from the libertine values you wanted to give a man who doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink, rises early, exercises, goes to church, has raised excellent children. Trump has helped many individuals without fanfare repeatedly over the years.

The quote is also from 1999, reposted in the last few days to trap the unwary.

“.. just saying customs are a little different in different parts of the country. ..”

That is an understatment. NYC voted for DiBlasio, and Cuomo, and their standards are as bad now, as they were in 1999.

Every NYC citizen isn’t a lefty, but most are. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Definitely too many Trump/Cruz threads I’m getting punch drunk. Sorry Sun, your video is 16 years old but this is not the thread where the poster attributed a Cruz statement to Trump and then said Cruz just said what Trump said himself (the Cruz statement they posted). So I’m sorry I was sharp. I trust the references from the Guttman institute more. They are more broken down very clearly and you can download the raw data.

I really need to step away on this Trump/Cruz thing and I have said my piece about NYC too. We will all see how it plays out.

“..I really need to step away on this Trump/Cruz thing ..

I understand, but I must say that Trump used the 9/11 tragedy to counter Cruz’s remark, and 9/11 wasn’t long after 1999 when Trump was on Russert’s show. There are, and were, both good and bad people in even the most liberal parts of the country, but overall the NYC mentality is socially liberal.

My husband is from NYC, but he’s one of the social CONSERVATIVES, who prays, and gives public witness in front of Planned Parenthood. So I’m not saying all NYC people are bad, nor is Ted Cruz.
