Was Trump “praising the voters” when he called Iowans “stupid”?
I understand what Cruz means by New York values, although I think he meant NYC values.
He’s talking about the NYC elitists like Trump who worship money and not much else. He does not mean the everyday people who live and work in the boroughs, nor about the heroes who gave their lives on 9/11 and who protect and serve their communities everyday.
Anyone denying the elitism of the power structure in NYC is not being realistic. Those folks have nothing but disdain for the vast majority of Americans, certainly not those in fly over country. Trump is no different than the rest of them. He’s just manipulating the masses to gain the power he craves. Then he’ll wipe them from his Italian made shoes.
Iowans knew Trump was talking about Cruz supporting Iowans. That’s why it didn’t hurt Trump one bit.
Face facts. TRUMP just blew Cruz up. TRUMP took opportunity and gave it back to Ted in spades. He gave opportunity to TRUMP, and now the Don has seventeen million New Yorkers cheering his answer back to Cruz.
It’s just too beautiful for words. The consummate politician. TRUMP is the only real FORCE in the field, on either side.
