Minimum wage laws are state laws and I doubt any will ever abolish them. The other 3 are all good changes but it won’t deal with China pennies per hr wages and their artificial deflation of their currency. Manufacturers will still do their manufacturing in China and those jobs do not move back here. Many, probably most Americans will want to buy American made but the China produced goods are still going to be much much cheaper. Price is king to most shoppers/consumers.
We need a tough bargaining stance to get China to even the playing field and other than tariffs I don’t know of one.
If we do the stuff I mentioned and get our own economy back on solid free-market-economy footing, our economy will have probably more explosive growth than after Reagan’s tax cuts. Businesses will thrive and without forced union interference, competitive manufacturing can return. China will dim in importance.
BTW - federal minimum wage provisions are contained in the UNCONSTITUTIONAL Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Employers must comply.
Higher state minimum wages are a problem but can be easily reversed by the people of the state.
The unconstitutional federal wage controls are another story but also need to be repealed.
The latest casualty - TODAY’S NEWS: Walmart. Everybody loses when the the stupid, incompetent, and unconstitutional federal government meddles with the economy and our wages and prices.
