Another round of eagerly awaited GOP debates will take place live January 14 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, airing on the FOX Business Network and streaming live on FOXBusiness.com.
The first debate, scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET start will be moderated by anchors Trish Regan and Sandra Smith. Four GOP candidates will be featured, including former HP (HPQ) CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.
The second debate, which is slated for a 9 p.m. ET start, will be moderated by Anchor/Managing Editor of Business News, Neil Cavuto and Anchor/Global Markets Editor Maria Bartiromo. Candidates at the podium for the later debate will be: real estate mogul Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Ohio Governor John Kasich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

That is so true. NONE of the others have a snowball’s chance in hell of being elected. Cruz is the smarted and most Presidential of the rest of the lot, but he has ZERO cross-over appeal and the media will shred him as being so conservative, he’s right of Attila the Hun.

Secretary of State from any state, who is a Constitution originalists can throw his name off the ballot now, according to Tribe. The Supreme Court is divided between originalists and living Constitutionalists. Yikes.
The truth is, Cruz is NOT a "great" debater, nor is he any good at the Constitution! He absolutely LIED THROUGH HIS TEETH re Trump's mother!
Cruz can choose Arnold Ziffel as his running mate.

That's the "simple" default on a read of the constitution. The founders didn't anticipate the US being the world's police force.
I haven't studied the details, not sure if I can make a simple explanation, but US citizenship follows state citizenship. What is your state of residence? Where are you domiciled? Those questions matter. Also, any claim the host country has. Most host countries don't grant citizenship to children of parents who aren't "permanent residents," and law of nations abhors a stateless birth.
It would take a court case to sort it out - hasn't been important because nobody born in that spot has run for pres. They are citizens, no doubt. Much more complicated than the Cruz case, which resolves straight out of principles well-expressed in Rogers. V. Bellei.

Yeah I caught Trump’s response to Haley. It was brilliant how he avoided directly criticizing her while once again emphasizing the very things she hates him for. This ain’t the Punjab, Haley. It’s America, learn the rules.
