“Constitutionally, guns should not be subject to ANY sales taxes at any level of government.”

I agree! Someone should test it in the courts, see if sales tax on guns is constitutional.

If voting can’t be taxed, then guns shouldn’t be either!

Fittingly, Hillary is taking a page from the Al Capone playbook. Remember, it was a tax evasion charge that got him imprisoned.

The purpose of a tax on firearm sales is not to generate revenue or make guns more expensive, it’s to require that paperwork be generated. Selling a gun would require reporting all the details - buyer and seller IDs, serial number. It’s a backdoor way to get to universal background checks.

Sell a gun without remitting the tax and associated paperwork through your income tax return and you’re in violation of the law. From there it wouldn’t be too hard to get violators declared ineligible to own a firearm. Heck, with a Dem in the WH, it would be easy to direct the background check system to deny approval for future purchases regardless of what the law said.

This is why all federal taxes on firearms must be attacked from the poll tax angle.
