he was born in a foreign country to a foreign father. He’s not a NBC by any stretch. He’s a citizen.

The Naturalization Act of 1790 best shows the Founders intent about the definition of a NBC

They said single parent and over seas was fine.

It was repealed by the man who authored the constitution, the man who agrees that place of birth best guarantees allegiance, the man that specifically stripped those unconstitutional words out of the 1790 naturalization act and replaced them with the constitutional words-”citizens”.

They said single parent

No, it says "children of parents." Furthermore, it specifically references fathers.

and over seas was fine.

For the purposes of treating children of such unions "as if" they were natural born, but not that they were really natural born.

One can continue to hold that belief for only so long as one maintains ignorance of the history and other writings, as well as blowing off and handwaving away of the common and ordinary effect of "shall be considered as".

Not quite. In 1790, they said a child born overseas to naturalized citizen parents was fine.
