Right. The official recognition happens at the moment that you are born. And a birth certificate is issued.

Incorrect. “Official” recognition requires paperwork.

The Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) is the paperwork that makes the recognition official, the same as the birth certificate for domestic births.
