Which politician gets it pales with respect to whether we allow a faith revolution to happen among us. Trump could arguably be an open door for the working of this, IF he is being on the level of wanting to “make a deal with America.” A God-revived America could propose quite a deal to Trump. Cruz, already a believer, could be great here, or he could end up interfering through preconceived ideas of faith. Or the Lord may have another blessing in mind for Cruz, for example running interference in the Senate for judicial confirmation issues.

I know I have gotten on a lot of people’s nerves, complaining that I must think I am the holiest person in the world or some such thing. I didn’t know there was even a contest going on for holiest person in the world, but only Jesus could qualify. I can only make a lot of noise about how great the grace of God is. Grace isn’t a chance to let your pride strut as good as it can. Grace takes the place of your pride. It turns life into a love story towards God. And if it made a big difference to me, it’s because I have a huge pride and still am rassling that rascal down in the name of the love of God. And I thank everyone for his/her patience while this is going on.

Anyhow, get a faith transformation in the “We The People” that heads up the Constitution, and suddenly you’ll start to see miracles, including political miracles.

I have to do a lot more work than you or practically anyone else before God will be able to work on me. The same may apply to Trump, I am in no position to judge that. But Trump has a great deal of respect for Christianity and Judaism and that’s a good start. He does not appear to have humility in the sight of God, but like I said, I’m the last person who should be judging that.

Yeah, you can be a gadfly, but your basic point is absolutely solid.

The culture is rotten with evil. Politics can’t fix that, nor will politics be fixed until the culture is at least somewhat whole.
