Three winners: California, Florida and Tennessee.
I think it was FR where I was reading about a bunch of guys in Florida combining together. They had it at buying $500 a share, and bout something like $150,000 of tickets. Will be interesting to see if it is them.
If they have my luck it will be some guy that had $2 left in change and decided “Aw - what the heck- give me one of them powerbutton tickets.”
Got it... thanks. ;-)
LOL. Yesh, me too.

That is pretty darn amazing right there.
I was wondering about that the other night. How many are glad to have won one or two million, and how many are really pissed at being one number off of the 100’s of millions? (I know which ones I would rather have as friends!)
I bought ten tickets. Matched up two on the same ticket. Out of all 10 tickets only matched up 3! (That says something about the odds right there!)
Watch it be an illegal alien.
Shoot! I guess I’ll have to bring the Lexus back...
Lottery winnings in CA have no state tax on them. Go figure.
“This is a pretty rich neighborhood. Lucky ticket was sold at the 7-11 on Chino Hills Parkway”
Know the store well, I’m in Chino. It’s right next to an auto parts store, Jack in the box and a 99 cents store which I was in on Monday. Older less affluent part of town, still very middle to upper middle class. More Repubs than Rats in Chino Hills, not many cities like that in Cali anymore.
not there...gone...
When a family member won big time she and her husband hired a private airplane....flew in to claim their winnings and out again..no fan fare... and never told a single soul outside of family.
Well done, Inspector Clouseau, well done.
Excellent air show out there at the Planes of Fame Museum.
Well they probably aren’t that low considering what I saw when the news went over to the 711 there.
Oh Well,
I got the powerball which netted me $4 but I'm keeping it a secret from the IRS......
Trust me. THAT will change.
This is one of the reasons I love Free Republic. Its members are so versed (no pun intended) on every topic from every angle. This was a good one!
On Good Morning America, looks like there are 2 powerball winners. 1 in Tennessee, and 1 in Florida. So the good part that 1 person is not getting the whole enchilada. =)
