It is hard not to feel protective over Donald Trump while the political classes are seething and scornful.
They are unacquainted with such powerlessness. Control was never supposed to stray this far from their grasp. And their rage, manifested in every hapless attack on Trump and his supporters, actually seems to be improving the likelihood of that outcome they fear most of all.
How tempting, under these circumstances, to rush to his defense, as so many in the conservative movement have already done. The Donald has boldly made himself a standard bearer of unpopular (â¦within the political bubble), yet critical policy positions concerning national security, from the urgency of immigration enforcement to the potential implications of refugee resettlement.
He has played a pivotal role in dragging these and other issues from the shadows that the media might otherwise have not been so quick to shine a light on. He has made the case against birthright citizenship, spent countless campaign hours pledging to build a wall, and talked tough to the politically correct mafia at a time when its fascistic influence has left millions of citizens feeling voiceless.
Trumpâs style and substanceâbrazen, unapologetic and quite popularâhave upended equanimity on the left, leaving the âpublic intellectualsâ screaming over one another to denounce his absurdity, the effrontery, the horror.

So, it seems now you are declaring that Trump can just issue an executive order and change it all. If not, then please specify how it gets changed.
Any your point??
I’ll concede the Reuters RCP polls show Trump leading, but then you would have to concede that those same RCP polls are showing Trump as the ONLY GOP candidate that would NOT beat Hillary. My point...is that polls can be manipulated and are a joke, much like all of the polls that showed Romney and McCain winning. There are too many variables like voter turnout and primary restrictions so I could care less about the polls.
All I know, is that I will NOT vote for Trump even in the general because I see NO difference between Hillary and Trump except that Hillary has better hair. Unfortunately, the policies are virtually the same (see post #76).
I’ll also add that the 4 lower polling candidates have a combined total that exceeds Trump’s numbers, outside of the statistical error rates for polls. We have a long way to go and a lot could change in the next several months so don’t hold your breath based on today’s polls.
You said Sessions endorsed CRuz.
That’s fib #1
You said Sessions had to have endorsed CRuz because he defended CRuz against Trump’s attacks on immigration (they were Rubio’s attacks).
Fib #2
I didn’t call you names, I said you fibbed. You did fib. Truth comprehension must be tough for CRuzers.
“I didnât call you names...”
Semantics...if you say someone lied then you are by default calling them a liar...geez
“Trumpâs attacks on immigration (they were Rubioâs attacks)”
That is a fib on your part! Trump has been attacking Cruz on several issues, including immigration. Sessions has been defending Cruz against several of Trump’s attacks (birther, immigration, religion), one of which is the immigration attack. Rubio AND Trump have BOTH attacked Cruz on immigration:
Give it up, duke. You were busted and you’re trying to catfish.
Lol.
Goodnight!!
“You were busted...”
I wasn’t busted. On the contrary, I provided several links and PROOF. Again, Trumpsters can’t deal with the facts so they just blindly attack. Trumpsters are just like Trump...no substance, only baseless attacks that are easily refuted!
OK, so Congress adds another exception to 8 U.S.C. § 1401(a) or passes some other bill to prevent citizenship to those here illegally. If the court strikes it down, they try to use the momentum to rally for a Constitutional Amendment.
FYI...
Poll Date Clinton (D) Trump (R) Spread
RCP Average 12/16 - 1/7 44.6 42.6 Clinton +2.0
Poll Date Cruz (R) Clinton (D) Spread

Also, you’re poll data is OLD. It looks like Trump is falling fast. Trump is now down at 35%, while Cruz has increased to 19% and we’re not even talking about the lowest polling candidates that could boost Cruz when they drop out.
Poll Date Trump Cruz Rubio Carson Spread
RCP Average 1/4 - 1/10 35 19 11.3 8
Trump +16.0
I trust Trump 100% more to get that done than Cruz—and you don’t have to look past their statements on the subject to see why.
If Trump had been born in Canada, the child of a Cuban refugee and an American mother, and then claimed he didn’t know he was a Canadian citizen till a couple years ago, and then decided to renounce that Canadian citizenship at the age of 44 when he decided to run for president, Levin would be saying Trump was not a US citizen and therefore ineligible to run for president. The reason? Levin does not consider Trump a “conservative” and that trumps everything in Levin’s world.
If Cruz had been born in Texas and Levin considered him a “liberal”, Levin wouldn’t give him the time of the day.
Cruz could have been born on Mars, the child of Martians, and Levin would say he was eligible for the office, as long as Martian Cruz was a “conservative”.
You description of his statements as gun grabbing are so far over the top.
Yea I read both his books plus his policy paper in the 1bd amendment
You read into general statements specifics which are not there.
But that’s ok keep on hating. I guess you will stay home in november
Since Trump has always been the DONOR, he "owed" nobody anything...THEY OWED him!
You truly ARE very naive and unknowledgeable.
You should be paying attention to the article and it’s content if you’re an informed voter....if you’re just another mass celebrity fan then of course it would bore you.
Three percent of Planned Parenthood pertains to abortion. The other 9% is cancer screening, pregnancy care, family planning and the like. Businessmen often donate to both major parties.
I agree...and he's giving this nations people a 'performance' with all the pageantry they WANT to see and hear...from bold entrances to critical buzz words they can chant along with their hero of the ring.
This is a political ‘race’ but they want a ‘fight’ ...and it doesn't really matter who gets bloodied as long as somebody gets it, and Trump will assuredly give them the “match” they want regardless of who he attacks next, both in the race and otherwise....they have Their Man.
He operates just like the liberals....and for that reason alone it should have been a heads up....his businesses supports all the elites worldwide as their play grounds while they do their business.
The ones who stand to gain the most are the Elites and he knows this all to well....He once said before he announced, he could say the most derogatory things but his followers would still stay with him.....he's right.
We have this man not destroying Hillary, rather he's gone after every candidate, the party, International leaders, and even calling our own country a "Hellhole"....and still his followers remain.
I believe fully the ONLY REASON he's not running as a Democrat is they didn't want him, they know him and he couldn't get their backing. Typical to Trump he will always go to the other side and strike back. ...good people are being deceived to "Believe In" Trump....forgetting that all that glitters is not gold....especially Trump.
They can’t see the difference nor the history because they haven’t researched either of them......too many are caught up in the web that’s been flung. If they don’t back away soon from it they won’t down the road either. The Demorats are playing for keeps.
