That sounds amazing, too! I’m going to settle for a Caprese salad, a glass of Champagne and strawberries and whipped cream.

I’ll daydream about having what you and HL27 are having and about what I’ll be doing with my Poweball billion, while watching the Trump rally :-)

Wow, are you having it catered?

I overheard an interesting conversation today.

I live in a little Dutch farming village in northwestern Washington just four miles from the Canadian border. We have a Dutch restaurant, primarily a breakfast place, that serves these yu-u-uge country breakfasts. I go there once every one or two weeks. If you listen carefully, you can find out what's going on in town.

There were two middle aged couples in a booth nearby, and two of the four people were local Republican committee persons. They simply couldn't understand either the Trump phenomenon or the Cruz phenomenon. They had signed up for Jeb, switched to Rubio when Jeb's campaign sputtered, and now they didn't know what to do. Their political world seemed to be falling apart.

I'm not the kind of person to insert myself into a private conversation, but I found it interesting.

I thought Trump may have lost an opportunity last night. I enjoyed Mystery Science Theater 3000 when it was on the air, and I thought that rather than have official replies to Obama's address, it would have been more effective -- and more fun -- if Trump opened up a You Tube channel and commented live over Obama's speech, performing the roles of Joel, Crow and Tom Servo himself. I could hear Trump saying, "Oh, that's a crock!" to some of Obama's statements. "Do you believe this crap!" It would have gotten higher ratings than Obama's address on all networks and would have created a lot of buzz.
