Megyn Kelly asks Ted Cruz about Trump's New York Values.
Fox News ^ | January 13, 2016 | Youtube

Posted on 01/13/2016 8:09:12 AM PST by true believer forever

Skip to 4:40. Kelly asks Cruz about the push polls. She asks if his campaign had anything to do with them. He swivels, and then she reads from the Washington Examiner article about one of the questions in the push poll asking voters what they thought about Trump's liberal new york city values ... she then asks Cruz if that is why he made the statements throughout the day about Trump's values (notably on Howie Carr). Cruz keeps on the swivel and finally Kelly gives up.

She then asks him, "What are New York Values?"

Cruz replies: "The rest of the country knows what New York values are, and they aren't Iowa values and they aren't New Hampshire values."

‘A few loud Trump supporters seem to be the only voices on these primary threads anymore. They’ve successfully chased everyone else off.’

Welcome to the Trump camp, Don-o and skeeter! We are thrilled and delighted to have you! (According to the above post, all Cruz supporters have been run off the thread. That leaves only Trump supporters, as skeeter stated. So glad to welcome the two of you aboard!)

Cruz won’t insult the other states..maybe California since they are so conservative like New York. Hollywood surely would not be considered liberal nor would the Gov of the state or the Gov of New York. Cuomo? better be glad that liberal is not running for president. How many times has NY state voted for a conservative for president? didn’t they vote for Obama twice? and Hillary? nuff said

Who married New Yorker Megyn Kelly? And why is that relevant?

Huh?...I am talking about Trump's wife who posed naked in front of a camera.

If Ted is so right about New York City values then why did he take political contributions from two gay New York billionaires?

Just like every city there are a few people that disagree with the “Blasio’s” or with lib reps. When is the last time NY voted for a republican president? Over all it is a leftwing mecca

New York also voted for Reagan... Twice.

And like I keep pointing out, Cruz had NO issue with “liberal” values when he’s taking money from them.

Cruz shouldn’t run his mouth,

Chortle!
No one on this planet runs his mouth like Donald Trump. He is the biggest loudmouth alive. With the thinnest skin to boot.

He needs to learn the art of the insult sandwich, which Trump has perfected.

Trump's insults are like a bull running through a China shop. Crude, stupid and totally lacking in finesse. That is why Cruz has consistently gotten the better of Trump in these exchanges.

I had no idea Cruz had a birth certificate from Canada. Can you imagine how they would be crucifying Trump now for the same thing? The more I get to know Ted, the more I dislike him! If I have to vote for him, I will be holding my nose, but I don’t see it going there!

Did any liberals give money to Cruz? NO and if you are so blind for Trump that you can’t admit what New York City is there is nothing left to say to you. Go live there for a few years and see how they vote and what the taxes are like..even Chicago has a few conservatives but over all we know what it is like and who they elect. Cruz is right

I still like Ted, and I defend his eligibility, but after the one-two punch of using push polls, then attacking home state... I’m seeing red.

I will take the “house builder” over the lawyer, hands down. As I recall, Ronald Reagan was an actor and certainly not a lawyer, right?

If I were Trump, I’d Tweet: The country knows what Canadian values are, and they aren’t Iowa values and they aren’t New Hampshire values.

That would be funny. And it sounds Donaldesque.

nd like I keep pointing out, Cruz had NO issue with “liberal” values when he’s taking money from them.

Not everyone on New York is a liberal. Just most are. Still plenty of conservatives like me in New York City, albeit vastly outnumbered.

I agree that Kelly is a spoiled child. She can’t stand that someone, anyone, and in this case Trump, put her down and walked away. Shame on her.....good for Trump. He is the one who can put this country back on track.

Yep. Trump’s vetting the NBC issue. If Ted passes, then he could be the VP.

My favorites for VP, are in order: Cruz, Gingrich, New Mex Gov Susana Martinez.

Cruz brings religious conservatives and a huge legal background and a willingness to fight

Gingrich brings wonk knowledge, ability to fight, congressional encyclopedia, and middle-of-road republicans

Martinez brings legal knowledge, females, Hispanics

I’m a New Yorker and I know exactly what Cruz meant and he’s absolutely right about that one.

NY has a terrible record for morality. If you ever lived there you’d know. The mainstream media does not report what goes on in those gay clubs, the back room sex. There are prostitutes all over the city. Living in NY means always watching over your shoulder when you go down the street. Any kid growing up in NY is exposed to drugs, sexual perverts, pornography, illegal dealings on many levels and to try and live a wholesome existence is nearly impossible. Or impossible.

Speak to any NYer and you will find they stick up for NY as if it’s the greatest city in the world but ask them about all this and they will readily admit it.

So how is it the greatest city in the world?

Btw, with all the high taxes they pay there are still potholes all over the place and blackouts ever summer. How is it with all those people and all those taxes they still cannot figure out how to get the electrical plants built or functioning better to get them through the summer when everyone is running the ac units.

Corruption.
