He can win.
I like Trump because:
I think he'll make sure Hillary and a lot of other Liberals go to trial and then prison.
That's my barometer. That's my standard. Liberal criminals in prison.
The corruption is so rampant in politics now that they don't even bother to try to hide it anymore.
I honestly don't think Cruz will attack Liberalism and Liberals and make sure the criminals are held accountable.
I honestly don't think Cruz will get to the bottom of Bengazi, the IRS targeting, the Clinton Foundation, Hillary's email server, etc.
He's too much like Bush. Too mannerly. Too meek. Too squishy.
I was on this forum in the 90s. Every day I would read about the Clinton administration corruption. All the scandals. I remember being so happy when Bush was elected in 2000. These criminals will finally be held accountable.
And then...... NOTHING. Nothing was ever resolved. Bush let them completely off the hook. I think Cruz will do the same.
That's just my opinion about Cruz and Trump. I could be completely wrong.
I am not sure Trump will do so either.
In fact I am wondering whether he is running to see how far he can get and should he be elected, have little clue about how to govern: almost like he surprised himself by winning.
But again, they all are to an extent.
I WANT to believe that Zerohiseff will be thoroughly repudiated by having his EO’s immediately revoked. I am not sure anyone has absolutely claimed they will do this. I WANT a justice department who will bring criminal charges against Hitlery. I want a state department who stands up to the UN and tells our Islamic “friends” to back the hell off. And I WANT a president who seals this border and sends back the illegals and refuses any “Syrian” refugees.
I think Cruz has indicated he would do many of these things, but I want it ironclad in writing promised.
Like you I watched appalled that the leftists waltzed away with our danged china and there were NO REPERCUSSIONS for any of those criminals.
I like Cruz because he stood alone against the entire Senate. ALL of them who trashed him and excoriated him for doing what he promised to do, what they ALL on the goppy side promised to do. And they left him hanging. Maybe it was just a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington moment but it was a principled stand.
I understand he DID vote for the fast track trade authority but that is not the same as voting for the treaty.
And everyone who voted for the Corker bill should have their gonads severely punished.
But I do think the Constitution matters greatly.It is the basis for our existence. We have too long allowed the “living constitution” side to simply rend it as they see fit. Trump likes the expanded ruling on eminent domain. Trump is fine with the NSA corralling phone calls and other info.
I am between Trump and Cruz...I LIKE the way Trump has played the media and how he has made Hitlery twist in her panties...the way she is going she may not even be the nominee!
This is a watershed election imho.
IF Trump wins I will enthusiasticly support him as I would if Cruz wins the nod.
