CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) â Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz ramped up his attacks against GOP rival Donald Trump on Tuesday, accusing the billionaire businessman of having "New York values" and questioning his foreign policy credentials.
It was the latest round in an escalating rivalry between the two outsider candidates, who are locked in a virtual tie in polls in the early-voting state of Iowa. Cruz's sharper rhetoric shows that the detente between the two has ended as they fight to win over voters less than a month before the state's kick-off caucuses.
These Canadians, always picking fights.
Which poll is that?
Ted Cruz is up(from the same polls a month ago) in the polls I have seen.
Ted Cruz has always said the time would come to point out differences between him and Trump. Luckily, Trump has been attacking him for weeks. Time for the counter attack.
Go Maple Leafs!
Are you referring to the interview?
This is my source...and no, I’m not embarrassed particularly - many things I read I have to take someone’s word for it.

It seems that the Texas GOP are preparing to take care of it. Note the person who gave the interview is willing to testify in court. Make sure you read the interview that follows this paragraph. FRAUD would ruin CRUZ completely. Trump doesnât want that. But GOPee does
Xxxxxx
In a campaign interview during his freshman senate race, a GOP Texas State Committee member sat down with the young candidate to ask a few poignant vetting questions, and here are the questions and answers from that interviewââ¬Â¦ (Redacted information is to protect the witness at this moment, but the witness is willing to offer sworn testimony)
Make sure you read the interview !

It’s an unnamed source.
Yes it is. New York values are crazy stupid. They don't go over very well in most of the country. And I live in New York.
Ted Cruz's attack is spot on, as usual.
Come November 5th, you’ll be left out - in the cold.
I live in NY, have been here since I was eleven, and next year I'll be out of here.
Trump has NY values and that's not a good thing.
Well, I guess if you don’t want to win NY it’s no big thing.
Joke post?
Who has more financial scandals than Bill and Hilary Clinton or the people they get money from?
By contrast, Ted Cruz is about the cleanest guy you can find in politics anywhere. Don't let men even start on Donald Trump and his history of corruption and dealings with the mafia.
No GOP candidate needs to win in NY to win the presidency.
yes, hoosiermama talks about this. I don’t know how true it is ...I suppose you’d have to go with the credibility of the author’s reputation.
Spinning away the facts don't make them go away.
Mercer.’s company is being investigated by a Senate committee for tax .
The IRS has already made there stance well known and its not in Mercers favor. The rational opinion that a Gop Presidential candidate should not let his entire campaign be funded and propped up by a WS Hedge fund Billionaire who
has is being investigated by the IRS and Senate seems real logical .
You blind devotion to a politician that is owned is strange.
Ted is a real saint....
Who are you kidding.....
How many billionaires does Ted owe favors too.....exactly..?..
Hedger funders are the sweet ones .... right ...
None of these guys are angels but Ted ‘s act has gotten old
And when push comes to shove, Hillary and the media will pull the race card on Trump. And if you think that they've played the race card up to now, you ain't seen anything yet, and you aren't aware of what happened with Trump in 70's.
It was covered pretty well back then in NYC and the media will reopen those cases again next fall if Trump is the nominee.
And that's why Trump likely gives money to the left and adopts their positions on amnesty, affirmative action...etc.
You live in NY? Well, that explains your rants.
So, just for the sake of the argument, what will you do IF Mr. Trump wins the nomination - and wins the general. I’m not claiming this as a certainty - b/c I don’t know ... But, if Trump happens to “run the board” - what will you do? Sit out the election? Vote Third Party? Vote for Hillary? Write-in Ted Cruz? What? I just want to see all your cards on the table, if you don’t mind.
But I worry that it will. The GOP will give Cruz the nod and Trump will run independent and we will split and Hillary will win.
My worst nightmare.
They investigate legal tax avoidance strategies. Mercer uses legal tax avoidance strategies. Trump brags about using tax avoidance strategies.
Trump gives money to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, To the Clinton Fund...etc.
Mercer gives money to Cruz, Republicans, Brietbart and many conservative organizations.
And the result is that Mercer gets harassed by the corrupt IRS like the tea party did, while Donald Trump doesn't.
And you with ignorance with what is happening and your devotion to Donald Trump laps it all up like a Trump swab.
That is something I am going to have to keep to myself for now. Long ways to go yet to November isn’t it?
Well, that is damn disingenuous of you ... Since, if Senator Ted Cruz were to win the nomination, I would not think twice about voting for him in the general. That is the difference between you and me.
