Before anyone misreads the author, I don;t think he is calling for anyone to DISREGARD what the constitution says today.

I think he believes it is time to change this part of the constitution via the normal constitutional process,

If it is ended by amending the constitution, or even simply defined adequately via amendment, fine.

But no leftist approach of ignoring it will work.

Who cares how they want to change it. There’s something wrong with wanting to change it.

It took us to the 21st century (barely), it won two world wars, took over the Industrial Revolution, has driven the world economy from the mid 1800’s through the Internet bubble of late 1990s, took us into orbit, then further to the moon, and it was an American and American money and engineering that put us on the moon.

American innovation was not a platitude. It was a fact. Now, not so much as special interest and loose IP laws that favor big money, unions that favor socialist / communist agendas.

Which process would that be? The one where an amendment is propsed and ratified; the one where Congress and the courts just ignore the provision; or the one where SCOTUS uses its magic pen?

Right.
Just make sure no candidates with divided loyalties qualify for public office.
Muslims, by definition, have inseparable divided loyalties.

And make sure that BOTH parents must be citizens, and that candidates must be born in U.S. controlled territories or in one of the U.S. States. With the possible exceptions of New York, Michigan, Ohio and Minnesota...
