If the cartel even thinks he’s a snitch, Penn would be smart to quietly leave the country and find a quaint little country home to hide out in.

Personally I think he deserves what he gets for even talking to this criminal.

Great job, Penn. That’s the way to make a “drug lord” look like the idiot that he is. Acting like a “reporter”. Brilliant. Penn for President. One man making the world safe from drug lords and guns. WOOOHOOOO!

I saw a liveleak video a couple years back when the cartel offed a snitch with a chainsaw. One piece at a time. Starting at the extremities.

Everyone in that video was so coked up I’m surprised their hearts weren’t blowing out of their chests...not just his. Which did...Eventually...

Guzman looks like a bridge troll wearing disco clothes in that picture. Extradite him and send him to Sherriff Joe. He’ll know what to do with him.

I don’t see how this is different than the interviews with Bin Laden in hiding (one just a few weeks after 9/11) or Snowden or any number of fugitives that have talked to the media on the run. Except that Penn is a gonzo journalist which means he doesn’t have immunity and aiding and abetting statues may come into play in that case ??

His ego's too big. He wouldn't survive outside the limelight. Of course now...

While we're ruminating about Mr. Penn the Latin American media is focusing on Sra. del Castillo, actress in "Narconovelas". She finds herself suspected by the press of having ties to the Sinaloa cartel. There are suggestions that she might have been the means by which Penn got into contact with Guzman in the first place.

This whole thing stinks on many levels.

Yup. Wide awake strapped to a chair. He was so wired up on coke he didn’t even scream when they slowly decapped him with the chainsaw. Eyes were showing the pain though.

Guzman doesn’t look happy to be in that photo with a junkie.
