“The Texas senator, who is leading the field of Republican presidential candidates in Iowa according to the latest polls, was asked by a man in the state if, like Trump, he believed that all undocumented immigrants should be deported.

Cruz replied, “Absolutely yes.”

“And in fact, look, there’s a difference,” said Cruz. “He’s advocated allowing folks to come back in and become citizens. I oppose that.”

What’s the difference?? Except Ted won’t let any back in.

Seems like picking nits.

Trump sounds like he’ll REMOVE the illegal element (oh, and a wall), Cruz will...?? Let them voluntarily return?

Now, if we could combine the Trump expel and the Cruz ‘no return’ (as if it were a smart idea to allow known law-breakers back IN), I’d be a happy camper.

If an illegal self deports and then applies to immigrate legally how would Cruz know that they were once illegal? There is a loophole in the Cruz policy.

Trump's policy would be to allow anyone including deported and self deported illegals to apply for legal immigration. They have to get in line and follow the U.S. immigration policy.
