Suppose both of Cruz parents were US citizens....he would be natural born. Correct ?
Since there is no provision that specifically says two parents are necessary in this case, it would be logically construed that one citizen parent is sufficient.
It’s kinda like the religion decision when a baby is born.
Do you follow the mother and raise the baby jewish?
Does the father retain the hammer, and decides the baby is raised as a christian?
Same with Citizenship! When a Canadian women and Cuban father have a baby, is the baby raised as a Canadian, a Cuban, or both? The baby will not have sole allegeince to one Country
