Are you sure about this? Wasn't a statute required for Cruz's classification as a citizen? Cannot a statute remove it?
Natural born means nothing was needed to bestow citizenship and nothing can be passed to removed it.

I agree. There are reports out she is having dizzy spells, and her lengthy disappearance from the debate was that; not the line at the bathroom.
How's this for a conspiracy theory-- Hillary gets tipped off the email issue is too hot for Lynch to shove under the rug. Hillary drops out of the race for health reasons. You never hear another thing about the emails.
You can start with the fact 0bama’s BC is a forgery, two other docs are fakes.
The newspaer birth announcement is a pdf of a hardcopy.
Their is no known paper trail documenting 0bama’s birth.
Even the past Govenor admitted he did not locate the paper trail
I think most people posting sincerely hold a point of view, base on the logic that strikes them as compelling. Just based on the fact that there are opposing (mutually exclusive), reasoned sides proves that one side or the other is incorrect as a matter of fact.
At any rate, you have to credit those people with being consistent.
I used to care whether or not the constitution was followed faithfully. I'm way past that, and totally cynical. Perception and propaganda are powerful forces, and they are winning forces.

The appeal process would bump it to the Supremes, who have refused to settle it and can't decide before the election unless they want to be seen as a 3rd political branch.

It amuses me to no end - Each and every election season we here at FR eat our own.
Nothing has changed over the last Four / Five election cycles AND nothing will change in this regard.
I really appreciate that. Know that I am not always correct, and welcome being corrected, but I try to make my point of view clear, acknowledging opposing points and noting disagreement without being angry about the existence of disagreement, and so on.
I know the outcomes aren't academic, they affect real people for better or worse, and sometimes in life-altering ways. But for purposes of chatroom discussion, I try to make it feel "academic."
Trey has already told us this not about Hillary. He has been compromised.
That's the point. We need this resolved by SCOTUS sooner rather than later. Levin is a very bright guy, but he doesn't know the history and facts about natural born citizeship as it apples to eligibility for the Presidency.
True, but a lot of folks here made a very big deal about Obama’s citizenship, Birth Certificate (BC), Fraud, etc, etc. I think it DID need to go to court and be resolved, one way or the other. But it was never... And those who opposed him on the BC were vilified as Birthers...
Now we are seeing the issue creep back up with Ted Cruz.
I don’t think that is necessarily eating their own, but rather just being consistent.
Now, had those going after Ted on this were previously dismissing Obama’s citizenship issues, then yes, that is eating their own.
Still, who is doing that?
It’s hard to keep your cool investigating Benghazi.
You just you just wonder how so many things could go so wrong.
For me I came up with a conclusion that the entire ordeal was designed to get rid of Chris Stevens who had become a huge liability.
the regime was willing to do most anything to get rid of him and basically they did.also it was all about Zero looking good for the presidential election.

Cruz has similar issues that need to be addressed. We need SCTUS to make a determination. McCain in 2008 had a non-binding resolution from the Senate declaring he was eligible based on the opinion of Laurence Tribe and Ted Olson.
McDonough with stuffy stefffy climate change has united the world and iran does not have a nuclear weapon.

I’m surprised that Cruz didn’t request a summary judgment back in 2014 when he renounced his Canadian citizenship.
He had to have known this would become an issue for him.
In1982, Durbin bragged about being a five-time master of ceremonies at annual pro-life rallies in Springfield IL while competing in a Democratic primary. He supported overturning Roe v. Wade as late as 1989, even voting for constitutional amendments to that effect. By 1995, Durbin was opposed even to making partial-birth abortion illegal. During Supreme Court selection process, Durbin insisted John Roberts must support Roe in order to be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
