WHAT “growing epidemic” of gun violence?
Murder is down. “Gun Violence” is down. Mass shootings are down. Crime in general are down. And there are 100 million MORE guns out there than there were when Obama was elected.
Went out to breakfast yesterday with my wife. We were seated at a table next to two men, looked to be in their 40s. They were talking politics. They both sounded conservative but one declared to the other that both Cruz and Rubio were born in Mexico. The other man nodded his head as if to say, “everybody knows that”.
There are low info voters in both parties. Sometimes you may educate one or two of them but as I told my wife, sometimes you just mind your own business. We minded our own business.

I wish the writer, when he parted from his seat mate, had told him how close he was sitting to a gun— and was perfectly safe.
One time at a FReep at the WH, we were doing something about the 2nd Amendment. A woman approached us and complained about dangerous guns. I asked her if she felt safe where she was at that moment, and she said yes. I then pointed out all the armed people just yards from her— the DC police, the guards at the WH gate, the snipers on the WH roof, and so on. She had nothing to say and just huffed and walked away.
