Where did I say that I blamed the women?
They were raped. Men rape.
I put them with the person who goes into a poor part of town wearing a a silk suit, driving a fancy car and wearing a gold Rolex and gold jewelry. Those people KNOW that there are robbers and they SHOULDN'T be robbed.
One wonders where their common sense was. Why would they put themselves in "harm's way"?
WHERE were those protective men for their beloved daughters and sisters? Did THEIR fathers and brothers have ANY say in the matter? Didn't the men in their families know what kind of drunken brutes are out on New Year's Eve? Those girls/women should NOT have been raped and I would appreciate it if you would NOT put words in my mouth. See if you can restrain yourself. Where was the common sense of SOMEONE in their family?
Young women don't ALWAYS act with common sense. They should. And they should NOT have to suffer ANY consequences EVER for ANY foolishness on their part. AND, in MOST families on this planet young, foolish girls/women/boys/men have parents, relative and friends to advise them.
Blame isn't ALWAYS one-sided either. But you know that and you were just panting with anticipation to excoritate me.
Rape happens in ALL cultures, in ALL social strate, in ALL faiths and with ALL incomes. If you don't believe that then there is some land you might want to buy in Okefenokee.
Happy new year.
