Eleanor Darragh, mother of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% , was born in Delaware on Nov. 23, 1934, establishing her citizenship by birth-and, according to U.S. law, that of her son, even though he was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on Dec. 22, 1970.
The Cruz for President campaign provided Breitbart News exclusively with the birth certificate.

You are 100% correct. As much as I like Cruz as a conservative and he is my second pick. He is a citizen but not a NBC which is constitutionally required to be president. Just because Obama got a pass doesn’t mean anything. The liberal media will crucify him in the general election on this and it good it came out in the primaries.
TDS warning!! Cruz called and he prefers you stump for Jeb.
If he’s claiming natural born citizenship from his mother, he should produce her records.
The problem is, he’s a natural born Canadian. When he becomes president and they preserve his childhood home, you’ll need a passport to go see it. The home where he was born with Canadian citizenship rights.
Why did he give up his Canadian citizenship some forty years later? Is that a required act of becoming a natural born American citizen?
Trump produced his four years ago. His mother and father were citizens when he was born, so he inherited citizenship on US soil and upon his birth, naturally.
Are you one of those simpletons that think mockery did not exist before Alinsky invented it?
He should carry a copy with him in case anyone is in doubt. You know he favors the Doubting Thomas approach to this subject.
“Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expresly that the Command in chief of the american army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.”
Does a man terminating citizenship that he has had since birth, from Canada or any other country, have a foreign influence? Is NBC designed to check such a man from the presidency? Can we elect any man born in any country, because he has some connection to the USA? Can we elect a man born and raised in Iraq, because his father was a GI and got a woman pregnant there?
Why did he give up his Canadian citizenship some forty years later? Is that a required act of becoming a natural born American citizen?
Why can’t a natural born Citizen
keep his inherited Citizenship?
When something is natural, it can’t be changed. Why is he changing his citizen status in foreign countries?
You’re right. Ted isn’t a citizen. He’s an alien -—from another planet!
Why hasn’t he denied it?
Obama paid his overdue parking tickets some 20 years later... when he decided to run for potus. The things candidates do to be elligible!
My daughter has dual Citizenship at birth. Can she change that fact by giving up what she inherited at birth? No. She will always be born a dual citizen, like Ted Cruz.
Yeah I know, it’s a work of street art by LA street artist Sabo anyone who thinks that that’s Ted Cruz in the poster is a moron, the body types aren’t similar at all and the tats would be noticeable during the campaign. I will keep posting it despite complaints, the poster is bad ass and I love it.
There’s always going to be a fringe that will say this is fake, but this really defangs Grayson and Trump’s phony concern. Now we can talk about the issues again without being distracted by the birther BS.
It’s not ad hominem when the definition of something is obviously and objectively true and backed up with objective data - i.e we are governed by incompetent people/19 trillion debt, Bush is low energy, etc.
Here’s part what’s going on with Trump;

Beginning his campaign with a gruff, aggressive style, Trump has set himself up for a classic redemption arc as he grows in statesmanship.
That is completely different from the name calling we see here. Trump thinks so far ahead most people can’t figure out what he’s doing. He’s both a tactical and strategic thinker. I haven’t ever seen a candidate as good at that. Look at how Hillary got smoked when bringing up penchant for sexism, and that tactical battle isn’t over yet. It went the way it did because of the strategic thinking skills used before the tactical battle took place. Trump had it all thought through - it was not knee jerk spur of the moment reaction.

A person can renounce a citizenship. In fact, it’s not uncommon when people apply for jobs requiring a security clearance. Then, a person may renounce, say, his English citizenship, and be a US citizen only. It happens all the time. Then, you’re no longer a dual citizen. I don’t, however, think that’s exactly germane to this discussion.
That is an opinion based on non-strategic thinking. It’s an opinion uttered with both feet planted firmly in mid-air. For opinions to have any real life value they must be based on an objective, complete, and factual dataset. That opinion is an example of the exact opposite, opinion based on a subjective/emotional, incomplete, and non-factual dataset. That is why it is fatally flawed. There is so much of it out there - and so little strategic thinking skill. That is why most can accurately analyze what is going on.
You see the same thing here on FR, just watch, and THINK about what you are watching.

“You forgot he’s an operational thinker, not just tactical and strategic.”
Operational is tactical.
That shows how little most people know about this. You posted 15 minutes after my reply. This can’t be accurately and objectively thought through in 15 minutes. Instead of really thinking about what I wrote you default down to ad hominem. That is pretty normal, sad, but normal. And indicative of how deep seated the problem is.
