Disarming citizens is critical to his party (D) future. It’s not possible to bring socialism then communism to an armed population. I guess he thinks they’ve advanced far enough that they can drop the charade and kick out anyone who hasn’t bought into the ultimate goal.

The Founding Fathers did not write the Second Ammendment so people would be able to go hunting.
They wrote it so that people would be able to protect themselves, and be ensure their freedom .
