Outside of doing something illegal, they too understand they're going to lose big to Trump.
I like your perspective. No one is saying it, but at this point, Trump is a slam dunk. "Everybody" knows he holds that card. It may as well be face up on the table. Let the card keep speaking for itself. The only thing I would add to your perspective is that we need to keep in the back of our minds, at all times, that the battleground this time is "global". We don't even know who the real PTB is. To them, this Trump vs Hillary fight for POTUS probably seems cute and petty. Call it the vast international cabal conspiracy.
The real PTB would be those few organizations with the most to lose, those with seemingly endless wealth.
Btw, it’s probably safe to say those unseen international insider$ couldn’t care less if Bush or Clinton were elected. Being owned bought and paid for, they can be counted on to keep things business as usual. And that’s all that ever mattered to them.
