Karl Rove is a GOPe propagandist. But he actually has some value as a counter-indicator. If both he and Dick Morris predict the same thing, then I know it's time to bet on the exact opposite.

If the GOP hierarchy orchestrates this, and undermines the will of the voters, they will have essentially done what they are accusing Trump of doing - ruining the Republican party and throwing away any chance of winning the Presidency. To some extent these people are not much different than fight promoters who orchestrate who gets the big fight, and who profits from the event. Might as well have Don King run the GOPe.
