A wacky Florida college professor who has long insisted the Sandy Hook school shooting was staged by the government was fired Tuesday, just a month after the parents of a child killed in the 2012 Connecticut attack accused him of taunting them.
James Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at Florida Atlantic University has made headlines by claiming on his blog that the school shooting, in which 20 children and six adults were killed by a mentally ill gunman, never happened. He made similar claims about the movie shooting rampage in Aurora, Colo., later that year, the 2013 Boston marathon bombing and other mass shootings.
“Tracy is among those who have personally sought to cause our family pain and anguish by publicly demonizing our attempts to keep cherished photos of our slain son from falling into the hands of conspiracy theorists,†Leonard and Veronique Pozner wrote in a Dec. 10 opinion piece for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The Pozners’ son Noah was one of the children killed in the Dec. 14, 2012, massacre. The still-grieving parents claimed that Tracy sent them a certified letter demanding proof Noah ever existed, then ridiculed them on his blog when they refused to respond.
Tracy previously told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel he considers his conspiracy-mongering a scholarly endeavor.
“I describe myself as a scholar and public intellectual interested in going more deeply into controversial public events,†he said. “Although some may see [my theories] as beyond the pale, I am doing what we should be doing as academics.â€

Very odd, strange things happened that are worthy of consideration.

I suppose you are right! But still, it just doesn’t jive with what one would expect to see. The other image that is interesting is the parked cars in the school parking lot. One Conspiracy video pointed that out - and it does make me wonder. That portion of the lot is the typical straight in parking like at a grocery store, with driving lanes to access the spots - so most cars would be nose to nose typically.
All of the cars at Sandy Hook are nose to rear. Like they had been brought up and parked one at a time to stage the area. I suppose your same idea though - if it was staged, why wasn’t Secret Agent Joe smarter about it. (Well - he would be a Government Employee.....)
I bet folks have done studies on why conspiracy theories come up and our believed. To preserve a “rational” explanation for an unbelievable heinous act? A way of saying “well that won’t happen to me”, and of course to further one’s own theories (that the government will do anything to disarm it’s people).
The really odd thing was the complete lack of all those ambulance crews processing any casualties.
Are we to believe that Lanza one-shot one-killed all those kids running around, hiding, etc?
And who decided that they were all dead so no bodies were brought out?
154 rounds were fired. Many victims had multiple hits. Remember, these were kids 6 or 7 years old, who weigh 50 or 60 pounds. The .223 is often derided as a poodle shooter, (I am one who does so) but on a small figure like a 6 or 7 year old it would be devastating.
The really odd thing is even entertaining the idea that this sad event didn’t happen.

There were no photos from inside Norris Hall at Virginia Tech but I know people who died in the shooting.
It would be impossible to pull off these conspiracy theories. There are too many people who can talk. It’s just an exercise for bored people with too much time on their hands.
I would not bet on it being a hoax, but things do not add up. This is America, or it used to be. It doesn’t matter if parents are upset if a crime scene is shown, citizens have a right to know. We are on the verge of a third world war. Our own President is an enemy of our nation along with many traitors within the power structure. What is the truth about any and all things we flat out believe in anymore? It is like we are taking lessons from the USSR or Mao’s China. When an “official” govt edict comes down, my first response is skepticism. Anything else is just stupid.
Government, including judicial, should be as open as possible and avoid secrecy. Foreign governments that are secretive are also known to be in countries that overflow with conspiracy theories.
i never believe what the L$M and Authorities say, just watch what they do
