This is not meant to be an endorsement, but I have a stuffed toy turtle hanging from my backpack when I hike. I get lots of compliments for it.

I’m a drummer and I have a Gumby toy that I wrapped around a cymbal stand when I used to play out about 30 years ago. Very effective chick magnet.
