Trump has been clear that anyone must come in legally. Cruz has said the same.

Trump has been clear that anyone must come in legally.

Trump hasn't been very clear, saying that he wants to expedite them back through a legal process.

Which is not the same thing as saying that they should get on the back of the line and wait the 5 to 10 years to return through the existing legal process.

So, will CRuz change our existing immigration laws, which allows folks to apply to come here LEGALLY (as Trump supports), by EO?

And yet, Trump has also advocated letting the good ones stay (later he changed that to come back):

Donald Trump says if he’s elected president, he’d let undocumented workers who are productive stay in the United States, but if they just sponge off the system and don’t contribute … he’d have them deported.

Trump tells TMZ, he’d create a “system of merit,” saying people here illegally should have “a road to legal status” if they work hard and contribute to the country.

Trump also says no one really knows how many people are in the U.S. illegally — he cites different stats that show the figure is somewhere between 11 and 30 million. Trump says it’s unrealistic and inhumane to attempt to deport all of them. Thus, the merit system. He says many undocumented workers are “hardworking people” who deserve a chance to live the American dream.

I GUARANTEE very few of the Trump supporters know this is/was(?) his position.

trump has said touch back amnesty.

Illegals must temporarily leave the country. The “good” ones (variously vaguely described as “hardworking”or “productive,” definitions that Harry Reid could drive a Mack truck through) will be “expedited” back.

I assume trump won’t expedite any criminals or welfare recipients, and that cuts the number roughly in half. They get to jump in line over folks have been waiting years. They don’t go to the back of the line. They are “EXPEDITED.”

And then, he’s stated we gotta give them a path to citizenship.

So, half of 12 to 30 million illegals get expedited back to become citizens.

Above and beyond the people we take through the regular process.
