It has never made an iota of sense to go to the expense of deporting illegals and then paying to expedite them back into the country.
If they have to be deported, they should never be allowed back in, period.
Oh BS CJ, there many hardworking mexicans here doing skilled labor jobs because there is a shortage of skilled American labor to do those jobs. Many have been living here for many years and are law abiding. I would welcome them back if they are documented tax paying citizens. The culture in the past was to come here to the states and start a new life and we, this country, our government, allowed that to happen without consequence . Had been that way for a hundred years or more. Along with that good group are also some undesirables, Those are the ones we don’t want let back in, the gang bangers and drug dealers, the rapist, the thieves they need to stay out but there are thousands of hard working law abiding mexicans I would be proud to call a neighbor.
I think we could allow them to come back in under the same conditions that a lot of other countries set for immigrants, they have to have a high level of education, speak and write English, have a large sum to deposit in an American bank, have a spotless record with no prior convictions etc and no possibility of receiving andy kind of government assistance, if they cannot support themselves they are deported. In other words they have to be an asset to this country, not a liability. That would stop about ninety nine percent of the current inflow.
