This is something Trump actually had control over and look what he did. He put his own interest above the public interest, just as he did by donating to Democrats and Republicans for 20 years.

He donated to republicans and democrats, and he was not a politician at the time in a liberal city. We can all argue all day long about who is a patriot or conservative. You can all stay home and pout in the general election after Trump wins the nomination and he will still win in a landslide.
Trump has charisma and a plan. Cruz would be a great VP but he has no clout and hasn’t accomplished anything since he has been in the senate. NOT ONE THING. If Cruz had charisma and leadership he would have swayed more people to his side like Reagan did when he was president. People are looking for a LEADER, someone who can reverse the communism and infiltration of muslims into our government. Cruz is almost silent on muslim immigration. Cruz is weak on these things compared to Trump.
If Cruz had more of a ballsack instead of waiting for Trump to clear the path for him on every issue, I would see him more as a leader. His main strategy is to wait for Trump to implode and then reap the windfall of Trump voters. Is that a leading and winning strategy????????
