Donald Trump’s new TV ad: Make America great by keeping the darkies out

As the final, frenzied push towards the first presidential voting begins, Donald Trump has unveiled a riveting new television ad that perfectly sums up Trumpism in all its xenophobic glory and also perfectly captures the problem Trumpism has created for the Republican Party.

The ad, which is set to run extensively in Iowa and New Hampshire, has it all. It reiterates his call for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, and links this directly to the need to combat radical Islamic terrorism. It also again vows to stop illegal immigration by building a wall on our southern border that Mexico will pay for. All of this leads up to the grand conclusion, in which Trump himself vows to make America great again.

But heres something notable: Trumps spot looks very much like the heavily-immigration-themed ads run by California Governor Pete Wilson in the 1990s. Wilson helped secure passage of the infamous Proposition 187, which sought to bar illegal immigrants from a range of state services and is widely believed to have driven Latinos away from the California GOP and set it on a path into the demographic wilderness.

Note this footage from the new Trump ad showing dark hordes breaching the border:

Vile? Are you referring to the ad or to the hit piece attacking the ad?

While I will gladly vote for Trump for president, either he, or the corrupt media, seems to be sending out mixed messages concerning his immigration policy, never mind the fact that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate immigration.

More specifically, by promising to get all illegals out of the country and then letting those that can reenter the country legally, Trump is ”discriminating” against all illegal aliens, not just Muslims.

Insights, clarifications welcome.

What utter nonsense!

Trumps spot identifies valid and documented concerns of ALL the citizens of the United States. What is wrong with using common sense to increase your safety? Our government certainly is NOT. Our government is ignoring current laws to allow illegals free access to our country, to commit crimes, be deported, only to return to commit more crimes.

Our country stopped investigating terrorists who killed 14 people. The investigation was stopped because ...

And I don’t mean the ad. I mean the headline and the racial pandering.

I’m just glad we have a candidate who is not afraid to suffer all the slings and arrows of a corrupt media for saying the right things and sticking up for the American people. Nobody else in the field has the stomach for this. Nobody.

It’s quite lame really. He has no clue about freedom or the concept of the USA. The libtards really don’t know why they have the freedom to hate this Nation.
