That's exactly the issue. Cruz can fit somebody's checklist of "what it means to be a REAL conservative," but the fact remains that he is unreliable on sovereignty/demographic issues. Which are just the set of issues that are most important right now. Get them wrong, and 20 years from now, who cares what somebody's position on capital gains tax is?
