In my estimation, a vote not cast is one for your worst nightmare. That includes not voting for the democrat if Ryan gets past the primary. Just setting out does nothing except give you the right to say, well I didn't vote for him." You didn't vote against him either.

There is no such unicorn as voting against. If you can produce a presidential ballot or any other in an election between people with an “Against” box on it, please do.

Nobody votes "against" anything, ever. It's a unicorn.
When you vote "against" a proposition (yay or nay) you are voting for nixing it.
When you vote for a functional Democrat, you are voting for more and bigger government.
