I don’t believe I have ever argued the “sorry conservatives” comment, since I was watching that rally and heard it in context. You all are real good at searching though so feel free to check.
There is no stretch or any out of context. I have a personal stake in that particular comment because Obamacare/socialized medicine nearly killed me 10 months ago. So when a ‘conservative’ candidate starts pushing a modified Obamacare, I play close attention to context. “Sorry Conservatives implies 2 things.
1: The speaker is
speaking to someone of a differing belief group.
2: He intends to go against their wishes.
