By the way, it was Lazamataz who wrote a brilliant article on the elitist versus populist dichotomy a while back that crystallized my thinking on this.

Kudos to him and his original article.

Folks like him are ten times more politically astute than the freaking driveby media kings and queens blathering all the time.
