The federal government does not deserve our respect or support at this time in history.

I agree. I am increasingly refusing to accept its governance.

What should we do with those law makers who believe the law is not for them but for the little people? We have law makers that routinely break the law, ignore it, and circumvent it.

Now if they were black lives matter, or blacks in general the government would be interested in thier demands and willing to talk and talk and talk and talk because any grievances black people have are legit

I’m surprised you were even able to type all that out, as obviously stupid as you are and all.

When Russell Means and his ‘Red Power’ buddies took Alcatraz, there was never any talk of murdering them all.

I don't think anyone is talking about shooting these bozos either.

Someone in the government is trying to hype this story.

The government? The only ones cranking up the Hyperbole Express are they Bundys and their crew.

They are not "stirring things up."

They show up armed claiming to support the Hammonds, who have made it clear that they did ask for and do not want their help and support. Nobody in the area asked them to come. If that isn't "stirring things up" then what is it?

They want to send them back to prison under a new terrorism law, which is retroactive, which violates double jeopardy Constitutional law.

Actually now. The Hammonds were convicted under laws that called for a mandatory five year minimum sentence. The jury sentenced them to terms that were less than that. A court ordered them back to jail because that's what the law required. Now if your argument is against mandatory sentences then I may not disagree with you. But there isn't any double jeopardy issues here.

Nothing in the Bundy Ranch court order gave the Feds the right to kill cattle and destroy private property. The stand off was about a asymetric response by the government.

Your understanding of the situation is imperfect. Bundy OWNS the water and the forage grown from that water. Grazing fees are rent for using the land it is on.

So you are saying the Bundy’s shouldn’t owe grazing fees?

Not at all but the BLM is not following the law that established grazing fees in the 1930’s or so. But this isn't about grazing fees.

You are absolutly right, and those militans that threw that tea in that harbor a while back were way out of line, too. And, don’t even get me started on those militia men on the Lexington Common...rabble rousers one and all.

What you said - the Feds are still scratching the itch from when their attempt to screw the Bundy’s met with so much notoriety - they need to “prove themselves right” and I pray they don’t opt for another Ruby Ridge/Waco type event. If they do, they will probably find they have let the snake out of the can and the spring is too strong to allow them to stuff it back in.

If a single sheriff, local or federal official is injured, I hope that not one of Bundy’s militia walk out alive. Seriously, we cannot have people taking the law into their own hands....How’s King George today?

The feds would be industrial strength stupid (not out of the realm of possibility) to let an occupation(simple trespassing) of a small building, at a wilderness area, in the middle of Winter escalate to bloodshed.

I believe when the sun comes up they will find themselves ass deep in supporters not inside the building.

Seriously, we cannot have people taking the law into their own hands...

Citizens have been doing that for awhile now in Nevada. The Federal government has a long history of overreach.

One day the citizens might win.

” Seriously, we cannot have people taking the law into their own hands. “

The ‘authorities’ do every day and cover it up.
