It’s because of my grandchildren that I even know anything about Miralax. Two out of four are having constipation problems. What gives?
My grandson has autism and about 75% of kids with autism have bowel issues. Poor kid, it breaks my heart. He now gets enemas every 3 days if he doesn’t go. It’s about to drive my son to drinking.
There does seem to be a lot more constipation in children than I remember when my son was a child.
Miralax is the go to drug for treating children with constipation because it has no flavor but I’m far from convinced that it is safe.
