On January 25th, 2006, while at the Sundance film festival, screening "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore said this as chronicled in an article by CBS News:
... unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return, Gore said.
He sees the situation as "a true planetary emergency."
Well, the 10 years are about up, by now, warming should have reached "planetary emergency levels" Letâs look at the data:

I always thought their happy and devoted marriage was a political sham . When he was running against bush I saw a magazine in the dentist office , the Alfa male gore at home with the family . He was lounging on the couch in a pair of tight short-shorts . His adult daughters head was resting in his lap . Tipper was standing over them from behind the couch . Creepy .
How appropriate for the wooden Mr. Gore.
Danson claimed the oceans dead thing in the late 80s. When asked about it a few years ago, he said that it was meant to be a means to an end, basically to get attention for the oceans.
