Obama is going to do his absolute best to make sure the conservative grass roots are fired up and highly agitated come election day.
“Catch me if you can.”
It is as if the Current Occupant is DARING the American people, anybody, to put a stop to him. Actually taking away his power, however, is something must be done - delicately.
Not because we want to prevent injury, but because, like a person standing on a tripped land mine that will blow the moment pressure is lifted from the triggering mechanism, a lot of collateral damage will come raining down.
Congress has failed again and again to act effectively to limit power, always trembling under the threat of a veto of any legislation designed to rein in the executive branch, or of fear of a filibuster and forced 60% majority in the Senate.
But MASSIVE resistance from the voters themselves, and widespread criticism of the Current Occupant and his minions, by social media and other means of communicating dislike and distrust of the Current Regime, may be the tools by which we may, if not dislodge the near-criminal occupants of the White Hut, at least put them on notice, and give them some sense of their impending disgrace.
