The presidential campaign has taken an ugly turn, with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton exchanging pointed barbs about whether the Republican hopeful or her husband, the former president, is the bigger sexist.
And this may be only the beginning, as Bill Clinton's mixed record now becomes part of the campaign.
One of the keys to Trump's success in attracting support is that he refuses to follow the rules of political decorum, such as they are.
So when Hillary Clinton accused him of being sexist, he didn't blink an eye in citing Bill's reputation as a sexual predator as a reason for the Democratic frontrunner to avoid playing the sexist card. He ended one tweet with a warning to "BE CAREFUL."
It was naked intimidation typical of a bully, but it can be highly effective. It immediately reminded voters of all the baggage the Clintons carry, dating back to Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones, through the lying and cheating that led to Bill Clinton's impeachment.

Somebody at MarketWatch been reading FreeRepublic again.
There are a LOT of voters who don’t remember the “CLINTON YEARS” in the White House, nor do they know of all of the scandals from that era. If Hillary & Bill want to relive all of that and more, they DO need to be careful what they call Trump/say about him !
Bill Clinton has long since lost his “charm”. And he is certainly not aging gracefully.
Ya think?!
PUKE.
Hey MarketWatch, did you happen to stumble across the story of Billy Dale and the Travel office firings?
No. Didn't think so. Too much for you little minds.
I hope to hell Trump reads us......
Which is bully?
it took an ugly turn when hillary accused trump of sexism
Think so.
To be sure, I post key info/links to his facebook page.
When a Democrat chastises a Republcan, he’s supposed to remain silent or meekly apologize—if he wants to keep that coveted MSM “moderate” adjective.
Trump won’t play that game so they have to call him something.
Go Trump!
“It was naked intimidation typical of a bully,...”
Self-defense isn’t bullying.
This isn't the elementary school playground, this is a contest to determine who will be the leader of the free world. Crying about bullying and intimidation is PATHETIC.
Trump’s admonition to Hillary was far more than an empty threat. It is quite interesting that since her crack about sexism with Trump we haven’t heard that out of her mouth since. She and her campaign have backed off of that one, plus Trump is happy to open the books on his personal life with women. Trump is not playing scared, and this is how you win!
I am sure that Trump has far more ammunition to fire at her and is keeping his powder dry for now. The things we already know about her selling her office as Sec of State and landing Billy these coincidental big money speaking fees plus the email scandal, plus Benghazi have lots of sharp details to cover. The Epstein underage scandal also has crime in it. Trump is very connected and knows lots of things we don’t know. It is very instructive that Hillary has backed off this sexism angle in the last week.
No surprise here. Hillary has been ugly from the start.
