Cannot believe that Iowa is not putting up a fight.

I would say most players at the elite level are on some kind of juice.

Henry's arms alone weigh 50 pounds each. He's stacking everything but the most killer bull test. Then again, I wouldn't rule out the veterinary stuff either.

Despite Musberger’s verbal voodoo dance to the contrary...
I was in high school in the early 70s when Stanford was my play ground. I had so much fun! Underage drinking, great football games, watching the original Woodstock movie with student witticisms flying...good times...

“At this rate it will be a triple digit score.”

As long as Shaw doesn’t let off of the gas. He’s done it before. Thank goodness they have a pretty good lead ;)

...just when the NCAA and ESPN thought they had it all worked out.

...an advertisers reaming forthcoming...particularly if the NC game is a blowout also.

I don’t care for marching bands, but the Stanford act is past its “sell-by” date. Parody needs to be fresh AND well executed. The band fails both.

Ahhh, yes. Well - ahem - yes, yes, of course. I see. (Wearing "serious concern face".) Right. You said it. (Gently backing out of room, scanning for exit.) Yes. Yes, solid point.

The Left must be in full head-explosion mode today what with the Rose Bowl Parade (religious, Christian, patriotic) and the Bowl football game (concussion-inducing and macho men).....all the things that throw the Libs into paroxysms of rage, hate and despair.

"Alabama was spared the ritual humiliation Stanford would have inflicted on them."

You're dreaming.

Stanford would be lucky to have one point in this game if they were playing against Alabama.

But I, too, thought the same as I saw the “Jesus is the Light” float...

"Used to root for Plunkett when he wore the Silver and Black."

My first wife went to HS with Plunkett.

He was sitting on the bench at New England and Al Davis retrieved him and Plunkett lead the Raiders to a Super Bowl championship that year. I liked that.

Tradition?

I went to school with kids of a Heisman winner.. Mom and the gals were cute.. The winner served in WW2 and played for a few years professionally and helped bring glory to U of Minnesota way back when footballs were softer and heads were harder.
