I agree with everything you posted. I do not believe that we are going to get out of this without the shedding of blood. The question is, will we fight, or will we acquiesce? Because, as sure as Monday follows Sunday, they are coming.

“We should BE BLAMING REPUBLICANS for all of it! The reason they can’t “do something to stop this,” is that there aren’t enough of them to overrride a veto. And just why aren’t there enough of them? Answer: because the voters decided a decade ago that the GOPe wasn’t worth a $hit so they didn’t elect enough of them to be able to “do anything about anything!” The voters have neutered the GOPe because they know that they’re as big a fraud as the RATs! So Yes, we should be blaming them. I know I do.”

Fifty-four republican senators are about the upper limit. Voting more conservative won’t produce more republican senators since about 45% of the population will vote for yellow dog as long as it runs on the Democrat ticket.

I would not give them any warning. On day 1, I would send in LEO and the like to protect all records and data, and escort the agency (Rat) leaders out the door with nothing but their wraps, if they have any. Bring in my own people to then get backups of all data. After the data is protected, then hunt down those administrators who participated an any shenanigans, squeeze em with lawsuits, firings, etc., until they start talking. Then “hang” the agency heads based on the corruption exposed.

The House can impeach him for treason- attempting to strip away the right to bear arms, the last line of national defense, after terrorist attacks on American soil is a clear indicator he is in fact a terrorist agent himself, as he is by enacting gun control offering aid to the enemies of the United States. At the very least, it shows he is no longer fit to govern. And, even if it fails, those who sustain him in office will be either labeled as traitors or incompetent themselves.

And yes, these things can be done. Andrew Johnson missed being removed just for disagreeing with Congress because of a merciful senator. Granted, the office of the presidency would be reduced to a shadow, but that might be what it takes to restore some Constitutionality about our government.

“By vote of Congress which will require a majority of both the House and the Senate. The Senate will require sixty votes for closure. There are 54 Republican Senators. Can you name six democrat senators who will vote for cloture? No? Then who is to blame for not stopping Obama, the Republicans or the forty-six Democrats who will not vote for cloture?

What’s your next idea for how the Republicans can stop Obama from issuing Executive Orders?”

Don’t go muddling the issue to include ALL executive orders, every president issues them. I’m only talking within the framework of the coming EO on 2A infringement. Even IF republicans cannot find 6 senators for cloture, taking a stand in support of the nation’s 2A right now would send a much needed message. Republican approval ratings may actually rise again. Gun ownership is bipartisan. Democrats would stand to lose more of their constituents if the sided with Obama.

We’re talking about stopping Obama, not making symbolic gestures.

That would, of course, be a valuable stand. I would support such action if only to force the democrat candidates to take a position.

That said, it would not accomplish anything in terms of ‘stopping Obama’. Isn’t that what we’re talking about?

This snotty little rat faced turd did the same thing with illegal aliens - leaking for weeks through his tame media lap dogs to stir up the opposition before releasing his illegal actions. This is the work of an classless, soulless Alinskyite community organizer, not a leader.

Hope President Trump (or Cruz) follows through and wipes this crap off the books as soon as he takes office.

If he’s tied up in hearings for the rest of his term, that would at least disturb his plans a bit. Not to mention keeping his various minions off task when they are forced to testify for weeks on end. Token resistance is still better than none.

No one will want to be first. But someone will be first. Probably it will be because of some lightweight JBT smashing around a family member, or in some areas, the dog.

Once it starts, it could go up like stacked timber. I don’t think there are enough JBTs to go around for everyone who wants one.

I am with you. As of January 1, 2016, it is just a matter of time.

The original claim was that the republicans must do something to stop this. I agree with you that some forms of resistance are possible and should be undertaken even if it is only a “token”. My point all along is that there really isn’t anything the republicans can do to stop this. There are a large number of posters in this forum who are intent on demanding impossible things of republicans and then condemning them for not achieving the impossible.

Actually, they (and I, for that matter) are furious that the strongest possible things are not being attempted, which is a pretty clear indicator that our elected representatives are not serving their purpose.

All I’ve asked for is a description of the things you think should be tried as well why you think they will work. It makes no sense to criticize the republicans for not trying something unless there is a real chance for success.
