The story is back on Salon now, but it's been rewritten.

It now concedes that the attack "may" have been the work of "a Muslim," it goes on to assert that "other Texas mosques" have been targeted by "heavily armed anti-Muslim protestors."

Here's a link, but the story is almost impossible to read, at least for me. The page loads all kinds of stuff that takes a long time, the vertical scroll bar doesn't work, although my mouse wheel will scroll it sometimes.

If you use the Firefox browser you should install the Adblock Plus and NoScript addon. The Adblock works in the background without any effort on your part but the NoScript takes a while to build a whitelist of ok sites according to you to allow to use Java Script where most web page problems exist. You can enable and disable it anytime you want of course or remove it if you find it’s more trouble to you than it’s worth.

I’ve been using them for years find them extremely valuable in keeping my browser quick and without a lot of ads showing up in the background.
