In an interview with Charlie Rose, George Lucas spoke about everything from his and Disney’s branching vision to the deal itself. Lucas, who has always been protective of his series and even refers to them as his “kids,†hasn’t been looking back well on the deal with Disney (via Collider).

But to be fair, there was American Graffiti, probably one of the 10 best American films ever made, IMO. And people at Hot Rod would certainly agree that the yellow coupe in it was absolutely righteous. Perfect in every respect. The Pinnacle.
To be fair, it is definitely the 4th best Star Wars movie.
The “Clone Wars” animated series was the last Star Wars product completely produced by LucasFilm without any involvement by Disney. There were at least 20 half-completed episodes and even more scripts in development when Disney pulled the plug almost immediastely on purchase. They wanted to get their own thing out there. Disney’s newer “Star Wars Rebels” cartoon series has cheaper-looking animation and is aimed at a younger audience.

He lost it when he brought in the Teddy Bears in Return of the Jedi.
The first one was a decent swashbuckler with breakthrough special effects. The second one was a good movie with a good story-line.
That's all I have to say, not having seen the latest one.

Thanks,The script writing is amazing and the flow is so great.Had a 10 and 11 year and a 4 year old grandson’s following this on netflix,which is fun.I hate to say it but I started to get into them.Story lines are so great.Our 4 year old Grandson would watch one and say that was good put another one on.Hard to let go of your baby and every harder to be shut out from production but he signed the deal.
The new movie is a piece of crap. I really thought it was rehash and sucked. That said, poor Georgie. My heart bleeds for you, crybaby. Write another damn movie. Some of us are to busy sweating our balls off working hard to worry bout yer troubles.
At a certain age some people don’t care .I see it all the time.Lonely adults just looking for people to listen and care even if it’s make pretend.
So hes a victim now? Was he Forced to sell? He didnt sell to ‘white slavers’ he did what pimps do when their property is played out or they dont want the drama anymore. He sold to a huge brothel. He made untold millions repackaging and re decorating SW all the while holding his original cast to contracts that exploited their images without paying them. No one knew back then that merchandising would bring millions but he sure had no guilt pimping them!! So Disney is better at exploitation and now he is all sentimental! Sounds like $4 billion didn’t dent the ego.
He may fear the prequels will be treated like "Galactica: 1980" and ultimately ignored.

People will talk about the money Avatar and the latest Star Wars made but will hate the movie.
Star Wars - The force awakens is the worst movie ever based on the hype. So many plot holes and the dialog is awful.
JJ Abrams lifted the plot from the original movie plus several others along with real events.
A) The spaceship being swallowed up after Fin arrives - From the movie Mummy Returns where the ww1 plane sinks into the sand with the pilot.
B) The blood stains on Fin’s helmet - from Benghazi 9/11/12 on the wall were blood stains like that.
C) The small alien female with the beer googles - that was Edna from the Incredibles.
D) The firing of the planet weapon and the breaking up of the beam - from the space shuttle Columbia breaking up.
E) The crashing of the Millennium Falcon was taken from - Star Trek Generations .
F) How did the girl fly the millennium falcon and out fly the professional fighters that came after her? She was a scavenger and could not even make enough to buy a full meal, just 1/4 meal that day.
G) How did Han Solo arrive so quickly after she entered space?
etc etc etc.

I think the real talent behind star wars was his wife who he divorced after Empire Strikes Back. his ex wife has editing and directing credits on everything he did witch was any good after she left him all his movies are horrible.
Lucas went off the deep end after Return of the Jedi. Disney did well to keep him away from everything. A lot of people tried to tell him Jar Jar Binks was a huge mistake.
