Megan MacKenzie is an Aussie feminist advocate that 0bama, Ray Mabus, and Ashton Carter seem have more faith in than our US Marine Corps leaders. Retired LtCol Ralph Peters should have included Carter and Mabus with 0bama when referring to him as a total p****.

Lets eliminate all gender classifications in college athletics. No more men’s and women’s basketball teams for example - just one basketball team.
After all, there’s no difference whatsoever between men and women.

So any commander who doesn’t pass women will be sidelined. Ensuring the standards will be lowered.

lack of experience working with women Hell, you don't need experience working with them - you only need to see them in the gym, struggling with ridiculously small weights.

Its political correctness driving the push to open combat-line positions to women - not military necessity.
As usual, Obama and Carter disregard sound military advice to call in favors with feminists.
Is our country prepared to see our daughters come home in body bags?
This is where equality - the equality of death is wholly nonsensical and an insult to the intelligence.

Spoken like a true libtard. The only time i saw women do a precision commando-style raid is when my Gf and I witness them storm the Victoria’s Secret store in santa Monica during Black Friday.

The Marines did a lot of things with women in combat roles.
As I recall the units that they used failed 2/3's of the time.
Hell of a reason to get killed, had it been combat.

The toughest part . . . . will be overcoming deep-seated opposition among many male special forces commandos. I always thought the toughest part will be having to tell a mother and father that their daughter is a POW and is being gang-raped in an enemy prison and that there's nothing we can do about it, or that she was raped and killed by enemy combatants.

“They’ll realize women can pull their weight;”
A 110 pound woman? OK.
A lot of fit men weigh twice that—can women pull their weight?
It’s a categorical question: can a 110 pound woman drag an unconscious 200 pound man by his ruck strap a few feet out of harms way?
Put another away, can she sling him on her back and carry him a hundred yards?
Yes or no.

Yup... women can’t carry a 50 lb backpack, ammo, an assault rifle weighing a few pounds and doing a hundred mile march.
Forget what you saw in G.I Jane. Women are smaller and lighter than men and have less physical strength. Amazon warriors are pure legend.
Some things are better left off to men not because of sexism but simply because men do them better. Like fighting wars.

Putting women in positions that require a lot of physical strength, like firefighting and open combat positions, will simply get people killed.
Its not about plumbing, its about the qualifications to do the job. Lowering them don’t make women more competent.

A few years back I saw a documentary on Marine Recruit Training. They followed two platoons...one male and the other female...through various steps of the training. It was claimed at the outset that the men and women were doing the *exact* same things and that both were being held to the same standards.
After one particularly grueling day the interviewers visited the male recruits. It was clear from looking at them and listening to them that they were *very* tired, sore and dispirited. But each one made it clear that he could take it and intended to carry on.
They also visited the women after those very same training exercises.Several of them were weeping like little girls.
