The late Christopher Hitchens (an atheist) said: “Islam is the most fearful of theologies because it suffers from the horrible trio of self-righteousness, self-hatred, and self-pity.”
I always think of his quote when I am confronted with the thinking and actions of Muslims, particularly Western ones.
I don't see how those three modes of thinking can co-exist in the mind of a sane person.
