Is Trump to be held to account only for statements he expresses while running for president?
You ignore the fact that Trump doesn’t have a political record. So what he said in the past, or who he donated to, is completely irrelevant.
I’ve come to realize that most Trump supporters care nothing about anything Trump had done or said that would put him in a negative light before the day he announced he was running for president.
No liberal political thoughts, no democrat political contributions, no admitted buying of politicians, and no personal relationships with politicians (Clintons) matter to his supporters.
To them Trump was “born” on the day he declared his candidacy.
To them only a billionaire who can fund his/her campaign is deemed worthy to run for the office president.
They will say...
only he can win...
Only he is pure...
Only he can fix the country...
AND it doesn’t matter that he’s not a conservative...
