The ‘Iran nuclear deal’ isn’t really about nukes, it’s about returning money sequestered when the Shah was overthrown. That money will be back in the Mullahs’ hands by the next Inauguration Day. President Cruz isn’t going to war with Iran over its nuclear program.
Moving the embassy to Jerusalem is a fight almost any president will lose to the State Department. Not much chance Congress is going to defund or otherwise punish the State Department.
If only the President chose the man or woman who runs the state department.

The State Dept serves UNDER the president.
He will be reassigning them to other departments pending their retirement if they resist. That was what Reagan did too, and it works.
