And for the prick General Officer that recommended Bergdahl skate,

Which General Officer would be that? The General Officer who served as the Convening Authority (GEN Abrams) ordered a General Court Martial, with two charges with a potential sentence of Life.

Major General Kenneth Dahl, the lead investigator who recommended leniency and no jail time.

” According to The Washington Post, Dahl testified that the relative isolation of Bergdahl’s childhood, when he lived “on the edge of the grid” in rural Idaho, hurt his ability to relate to other people. Dahl said that made him an extremely harsh judge of character as well as “unrealistically idealistic.””

New age bs.

Obviously he meant to refer to Lt. Col. Mark Visger (above) who, as has been widely reported, originally "decided Bergdahls case should go to a military system similar to civilian courts that handle misdemeanor charges. It limits the maximum punishment to reduction of rank, a bad conduct discharge and a short jail term..."

As you point out General Abrams wasn't having any of that.
